Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Salary: £50, - £60,

Overview

This role is within a newly Established Birmingham-based MEP design team situated in Birmingham City Centre and part of a wider National 8-office MEP consultancy.

This role is a purely Technical Design and Delivery role with the bulk of their portfolio being new-build projects up to RIBA stage 4a. They work across all sectors and are currently heavily involved in the largest Masterplan Project in Birmingham!

You will be sat directly underneath the Director and a Graduate Mechanical Engineer meaning there is space above to step into progression wise as too.

The Director is very social and is passionate about networking and industry exposure and welcomes any of his engineers to join him if they wish.

Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to report to the Director and assist with the Generation of detailed Mechanical Designs and project delivery.

Ideally you will have:

5+ years' experience within the building services

A Mechanical engineering degree or relevant (HND/HNC or Msc)

Experience contributing to a multi-disciplinary team

Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.

An understanding of AutoCAD, Tas, Hevacomp (Desirable).

Deep and comprehensive understanding of Mechanical systems and how the design to installation process.

Experience with concept design through to detailed design through to project completion.

Ability to work in the UK without sponsorship or future sponsorship requirements
