Hourly Rate: £13.72
Night Shifts
Full Time Hours
Shift Times: 7:00-7:00 to include alternate weekends

Requirements for the Senior Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care):
About the service:
This beautiful service offers personal care including nursing and dementia care for residents. Just four miles from Sleaford, Lincolnshire, the care home offers palliative, nursing, and all levels of residential and dementia care, with comfort and friendship. Respite care can also be offered if a vacancy arises.
Having originally been a vicarage, it retains many beautiful features, with en-suites in most bedrooms. It is set in extensive grounds and is within walking distance of the church and a pub. Staff respect and are sensitive to individual needs, wishes and choices of all residents. Staff welcome all residents and their families and friends who wish to be involved in making the home a better place to live.

- Level 3 Health and Social Care or above
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential / nursing home setting.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care):
- Acting as a positive role model; provide effective supervision and guidance for the team; contribute towards their performance and professional development
- Communicating any concerns to senior management
- Ensuring the implementation of individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed
- Providing practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal care needs
- Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of residents, ensuring that any changes are referred and documented
- Monitoring and allocating work for HCAs
- Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors
- Undertake administration of medication training and administer medication to residents
