Main Responsibilities

Develop Frontend Applications using NextJS, React and

Develop Backend applications using NodeJS in a serverless architecture

Champion Communities of practice and development standards across our development team

Play an active role in agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, sprint planning and stand-ups

Using your experience collaborate on creating new solutions for our growing tech stack

Communicate with stakeholders across the business both technical and non-technical

Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team

Required Experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong Organisation and Time management skills

Ability to work independently, proactively and as part of a wider team

Ability to design solutions and cater for non-functional requirements such as performance and security

Significant commercial experience in the following areas:

Development using JavaScript libraries and frameworks ( and React preferred)

Development of serverless applications ( and preferred)

Development of REST and/or GraphQL API's

PostgreSQL and PGAdmin (Or similar relational database experience)

Working in a DevOps environment, containerising, deploying, scaling applications and micro services using CI/CD pipeline

Desirable Experience

Experience working in the Insurance sector or other highly regulated sectors

Experience with Salesforce Integration

Please note: This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work on site in Caridff days per week.
