Role: Senior financial AccountantLocation: Welwyn Garden CityPermanentHybrid role: 3 days office, 2 days home (from January 2025 4 days office, 1 day home)Core Hours Working 8:30 – 17:00To assist the Head of Accounting &pliance in ensuring that any tasks associated withfinalising the Financial accounts has been performed accurately and within deadlines.The Opportunity: The Senior Financial accountant will have manyopportunities to work on various projects around streamlining processes which will createefficiency gains across the team and the wider business. We prideourselves on our total reward package:• Holiday 25 days rising to 28 days with service, plus bank holidays• Core Hours Working 8:30 – 17:00• Apany pension contribution of up to 10%• Private healthcare for you, with option to add family• Group life cover at 6x your annual salary• Global Ie Protection (PHI)• Enhanced maternity and paternity pay• Staff discount platform & Cycle to Work scheme• Dedicated Service Awards for reaching key milestonesThe Skills:The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience in using SAP(ERP system), MS Excel and excellentmunication skills.A significantmitment to professional and personal development from day one, includingaprehensive local, product knowledge and leadership development initiatives- Responsible for maintaining IFRS16 Lease database and all associated tasks - Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset register and all associated tasks (incl. valuation ofpanyAssets)- Analysing P&L costs and balance sheet reconciliations- Accruals and prepayments- Submitting data to external tax team in order to assist them in finalising Taxputations, calculation ofQIP's and quarterly tax calculations- Review ofpany VAT returns- Produce final Statutory Accounts and assist with audit enquiries- Assist with thepany's Internal Control System- All tasks associated with the day to day running of the Finance team and month end/quarter end/ year endclosingThe Future:Potential Career Routes: There are further development opportunities within the team andthe wider business with an opportunity to progress into a Managerial role with direct reports.Also, the opportunity to progress within a globalpany across a variety of business areas.What we need from you?• ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with experience in producing Statutoryaccounts and an understanding aroundpany tax returns• Strong background in month end closing procedures and Financial Accounting• Excellentmunication skills
