Responsibilities / Position overview

We are seeking talented and scientifically strong life sciences professionals to join our strategic consulting team as Associate Consultants. Our consulting team blends scientific depth with commercial expertise and industry experience in supporting pharmaceutical and biotech companies along the commercialisation pathway through clinical development, launch and optimisation.

The Lumanity Senior Consultant plays an integral role to deliver against client and business accountabilities. Senior Consultants have a solid grounding in consulting expertise along with a track record of delivering successful solutions within healthcare. They work closely with other members of the team and use their best practice knowledge and skills to deliver against goals with a specific focus on being seen as highly competent across the range of Lumanity offerings.

Senior Consultants lead teams on multiple projects of larger and smaller scale without supervision and play an active role in more complex projects. They are beginning to demonstrate specialism in certain areas of consulting and/ or leadership whilst building a business development network within existing and identified new clients.

The Lumanity Senior Consultant’s key areas of work can be summarised as:

Manages small/ medium scale projects to high-quality under minimal supervision, directly engaging clients

Identifies opportunities for harvesting in current projects, understanding how Lumanity offerings can meet client needs

Qualifications

Has a degree – preferably in biologic sciences (a PhD or MBA is desirable)

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and able to articulate credible experience that clients would pay for

Significant healthcare company experience and a minimum of 5 years in either:

Strategic Marketing, existing healthcare strategic consultancy, other commercial function with strong marketing experience and mind-set

Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries; candidates with pharma or biotech industry and consulting experience will take priority

Ideally has brand management experience across the lifecycle, from launch to patent expiry, within a European or Global function

Experience working both individually and within cross functional project teams

Track record of developing and running a number of long term strategic and operational projects and including successful project management
