About The role

  • You will be working closely with the Team Leader and sharing on-call responsibilities
  • Community Care duties, including hands-on personal care and support with daily living; helping people remain as independent as possible
  • Supporting with administrative tasks, setting up person-centred support plans and liaising with other healthcare professionals and families
  • A £500 welcome bonus is payable upon completion of probation period, or after 6 months for internal transfers.
  • There are a mixture of shifts available between 7am-12pm and 4pm-10pm on a rolling fortnightly basis, including alternating weekends, please call our recruitment team to discuss how this could work for you.
  • About You

  • Experience within the care sector is essential
  • Previous line management responsibilities are desirable 
  • Achieved or are willing to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • It is essential that you have access to a vehicle for work & full driving licence
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about working with older people
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service
  • Able to respect the dignity and privacy of others
  • Great communication and listening skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential due to the rural location of the individuals we support and the distance between them.
  • Hours
