Job Title: SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to engage students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN support techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Organisational skills and the ability to track student progress effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN education
- Experience working with a variety of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
The SEN Tutor will work in a home setting, providing support to students with SEN during school hours. The role may involve working one-on-one with students or in small group settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
