A modern and forward thinking Special needs school is looking for a teaching assistant to join their team starting ASAP. The position is working within their KS2-3 Department on a full time basis supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. The school supports learners between the ages of 2 and 16 years, pupils at the school are mixed ability with Profound and Multiple learning difficulties. The school are invested in meeting the needs of every individual child and as a result of their dedication and pioneering child development strategies have been recently awarded Good with elements of outstanding by OFSTED. This school is dedicated in offering a balanced curriculum that support communication, social, personal and educational needs and for this reason utilises the 'Routes for learning' program/Curriculum. The school boasts brilliant grounds with state of the arts facilities including sensory rooms and trampolines for rebound therapy. The school is invested in offering excellence as standard and aims to insure that all learners have the best possible education offer able.

- Any experience level will be considered, ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience is not essential)
- Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
- Supporting KS1- KS3 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
