Support Assistant / Classroom Support Worker - SP1

What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure the safeguarding of all CYP by adhering to safeguarding policies and reporting any concerns
- Provide simple medical aid and personal care as needed
- Supervise and support CYP during mealtimes and other activities
- Assist in the delivery of educational and developmental activities
- Work with teachers and teaching assistants to observe, monitor, and report on the progress of CYP
- Prepare resources and help organize the learning environment
- Record evidence of learner progress and achievements
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the teaching or senior leadership team
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills
- Positive attitude towards training and continuous professional development
- Experience working in a team and following instructions
- Ability to use initiative and work independently
- Strong communication skills and experience working with CYP, particularly those with SEND
