Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hackney
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to college students with diverse learning needs.
Assist students in accessing the curriculum and adapting materials as necessary.
Support students with academic tasks, assignments, and study skills development.
Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and accommodations.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
Previous experience in educational support roles, preferably in a college or similar setting.
Knowledge and understanding of a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or related fields.
Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
Experience with exam accommodations and assessment support.
