An opportunity has arisen for a Security Consultant to help evolve and develop our security capability in the cloud environment as well as looking to work with our customer base. If you have a consulting background or are looking to change from an end user environment to something fast paced and technology driven, then apply ASAP. You will report into the Director of GRC and work alongside other managers to shape and implement our cybersecurity framework for our cloud security protocols, as well as drive a security-first approach.
The Goal
What you’ll be doing
Design and implementation of secure cloud architectures and designs
Cloud protection and governance at various levels from network to application
Threat modelling and design reviews of new technologies
Deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management
Assist in presales cycles, providing cloud security technical guidance to the sales team to solution opportunities
Work with managers and technical teams to develop and deliver solutions based on AWS technologies (e.g. AWS Policy)
Help define a cloud strategy and putting security on the forefront of transformations
Review and advise on architectures for applications moving into the cloud
Assess, review and test implemented cloud-based applications and implementations
Facilitate workshops to explore gaps in their cloud security processes and implementations
The Player
Proven experience as a Cloud Security Consultant, with in-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud Security solutions.
Good understanding of Network Security, WAF (Web Application Firewall), Firewall, DDoS Protection etc.
Familiarity with AWS generic technologies and Defender for Cloud
Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have’s
