We have a brand-new opportunity for you to join us as a Security Logistics Supervisor based near Heathrow. Within this role, you will oversee and assist in the searching, screening, and preservation of the integrity of 'airport construction supplies' in a secure and compliant manner, following the regulations of the Airport and CAA as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Main Duties include:
Achieve effective leadership of a team of Secure Logistics Agents while upholding the highest standards of safety and security for everyone.
Managing a team roster that can self-administer planned and unplanned absences, including holidays and sickness cover.
Actively participating in Site Performance Review meetings with a focus on continuous improvement.
Conducting performance planning and review meetings with all line reports.
Supporting the Compliance Manager in conducting performance audits, both internally and externally.
Undertaking any additional reasonable duties as requested by HLI (Heathrow Logistics Infrastructure) managers.
Essential Criteria:
Ability to meet all vetting requirements, including obtaining CTC (Counter-Terrorism Check) clearance.
Full UK Driving license, held for a minimum of 2 years.
GSS, GSO, NXCT (willing to train and pass all the relevant training exams)
Manual Handling training certification
Fire Marshal & First training certification
What we can offer you:
£15.46 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm – may be required to work nights and weekends
Annual leave of 5.6 weeks per year
