Secondary Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: North Shields
Starting Date: September 2024/ASAP
Salary range: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)

This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about teaching KS3 and KS4 students and eager to start their teaching career in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Job Summary:
As a Secondary Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for education, excellent subject knowledge, and a commitment to fostering student development.
Job Responsibilities of Secondary ECT:
- Teach engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Support and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in school meetings, training, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications of Secondary ECT:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QLTS, PGCE, NVQ or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their development.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development.
- A valid DBS check is required for this role.
