Your new school is a small secondary school with a sixth form located in Preston. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-18. The school has consistently been graded as good in all areas by OFSTED and as a result, has established an excellent reputation in the localmunity. There is an extremely supportive senior leadership team throughout school with a clear vision towards achieving outstanding. Your new role
Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS4. The role is tomence from September 2024 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis for the full academic year. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Science to KS4. You must be able tomence the role from September 2024 and be able tomit to the full duration of the assignment.
