The Role: We are looking for an inspiring Science Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across all key stages, fostering a deep interest in scientific inquiry and exploration. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student participation and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Encourage students to develop a passion for science and critical thinking skills.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in science education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for science and a commitment to student success.
Desirable:
- Experience in teaching multiple science disciplines.
- Ability to lead extracurricular science clubs or activities.
