Monday to Friday 07.30am to 17.00pm
42.50 hours per week

We are recruiting a ROOFER’S MATE (Labouring) to join our client on a temporary to permanent basis. For the first 13 weeks you will be PAYE but must be willing to go Self-Employed once permanent. Ideally you will be able to drive or able to get to Dorchester for a 07.30am start. The role involves carrying and handling materials, mixing and applying adhesives, cutting and fixing roofing materials, disposing of waste, climbing, working at heights and providing general assistance to the roofer. You will be attending customer homes to assist the roofer so customer services skills and professionalism is required. You will ensure you leave the home clean and tidy. No CSCS is required and you will be learning new skills within this trade.
What we need from you:
- CV showing previous labouring experience
- Driving Licence ideally but not essential
- Knowledge of health and safety and manual handling
- Willing to work in all weathers and at heights
- Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
