What will I be doing?
Joining client briefing calls/meetings to understand a client’s objectives and advising on the most appropriate methodology and approach
Being a point of contact for clients on project-related matters, taking a proactive approach to understand the client’s business and enhancing the relationship
Leading on project management for smaller studies and support other team members as required on larger, more complex studies
Managing all aspects of project lifecycle, from initial set-up and scheduling, to liaising and negotiating with internal and external fieldwork suppliers, to delivery
Developing questionnaires based on a client’s outline or objectives, challenge as required, advise on content and structure and best practice
Understanding and applying different sampling approaches and weighting processes effectively
Checking scripts and dummy data during project setup, develop code frames and table specifications
Checking topline data and reports, SPSS, tabulations and data on online portals
Using story-telling skills to create a visual representation of the data, in charts, with commentary
Understanding the importance of close financial management
Being involved in business development through writing simple proposals and conducting desk research
Being involved in marketing, use social media to raise the profile of Observer and Ipsos within best practice guidelines
Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.
What do I need to bring with me?
A genuine interest in market research and a desire to develop your career within a leading research company
The desire to build strong relationships with clients, with a commitment to excellent client service
Excellent hands-on project management skills
Strong time management and organisational skills, able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to tailor to suit the specific audience or message
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with a desire to produce the best outputs possible – taking ownership of all tasks and ensure delivery
Be self-motivated and confident with the ability to work independently when required
Be a positive thinker with a can-do, solutions-focused attitude
Have a high level of numeracy and adept user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint with knowledge of SPSS/Survey Reporter beneficial
Social media experience, the ability to write blogs and a good eye for aesthetics is useful
