The Role

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a Nurse Manager for our Complex Care Division in East Sussex. Operating specialist services delivering over 650,000 hours of care annually, the Nurse Manager will work alongside a team of professionals.

As a Nurse Manager, you will oversee a small caseload of complex care clients, children and adults, in East Sussex, focusing on building strong relationships with them and their families. Your responsibilities will include managing their care plans, supporting the induction of new staff, and providing clinical care—such as tracheostomy, ventilation, and PEG management—when needed.

The overall goal of a Nurse Manager is to ensure that clients receive exceptional service from a well-trained, enthusiastic team of support workers and Registered nurses.

About You

  • You will be a Paediatric and Adult trained Registered Nurse and hold a valid NMC PIN.
  • A minimum of three years’ post-registration experience.
  • Experience in providing community-based care ideally complex care, such as spinal or brain injuries, PEG, tracheostomy care, and ventilators.
  • You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop person-centered care plans and guidance
  • Conduct staff supervision, audits, and case management duties
  • Be part of the 24-hour service team, undertaking nursing shifts when required
