Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers.

Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care.

Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening.

Identifying high-risk pregnancies.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Pay Rate : £19-£30

Shift Patterns : Flexible

As North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are responsible for providing a full range of acute services as well as providing community midwifery, specialist childrens services and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Rated Good in their most recent CQC report, with affordable staff accommodation, on-site staff parking and bus transport links available. Nestled in the heart of Derbyshire, Chesterfield is a market town famed for its Crooked Spire.

What youll need:

A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years

Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

Qualifications

Essential

You'll have the following qualification/experience:

A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.

Statement of NMC Registration

Degree /Diploma in Nursing

Copy of Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates
