The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Interim Registered Manager required for a three bed EBD childrens home currently accommodating one young person under DOLS. Experienced permanent Deputy Manager in post. The home is situated at Ashton under Lyne. Full permanent staff team in place. Position needed while permanent recruitment takes place. Applicant must hold Level 5 in Residential Child Care/Leadership and Management and have significant experience of children’s residential child care.

The post requires the successful applicant to be on site five days a week 9-5pm and take part in the weekend rota which is every six weeks. The address given is that for the Head of Service for Residential care, the successful applicant will be provided with the details of the childrens home.

Candidates must have residential experience

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
