If so, we have an exciting opportunity tailor-made for you. We are actively seeking a Sales Negotiator to join our team at our Paddington, London offices. Our main branch is a Travis Perkins Branch, complemented by Benchmarx Kitchen and Joinery, and you will be an integral part of a close-knit team of five regional sales professionals working in our purpose-built office situated above all the branch activities.

You'll be working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekend or bank holiday working.

What will be your role?

In this role, you'll report to a Regional Sales Manager and play a crucial part in liaising with our customers, branches, and managers to meet our sales and growth objectives. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to assist with inquiries, quotations, and orders.

  • Taking ownership of quotes and orders through inbound and outbound phone calls, ensuring we follow up on all quotations and successfully convert inquiries into sales contracts.

  • Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of Travis Perkins' product and service offerings, and having the ability to suggest alternatives and related products.

  • Collaborating directly with preferred suppliers and manufacturers to source equipment on behalf of customers.

  • What experience are we looking for?

    We're searching for candidates with prior sales experience, preferably in a similar environment, but not essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adept at identifying upselling opportunities, and skilled at building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
