Parish of Holy Trinity & St Saviour – Upper Chelsea

This parish, located in a wealthy and attractive part of London with a prominent church building that is known as the cathedral of the Arts & Crafts Movement, is seeking, together with the Bishop of Kensington, to appoint a Rector to the Parish who can lead it into the next stage of its ministry and mission.
This is an exciting post that will engage and enthuse the right candidate. Applications are therefore invited from clergy who:

  • Can lead, inspire and motivate the congregation in growing their faith and in meaningfully engaging with the church’s mission.
  • Possess a gift and passion for nurturing spirituality and discipleship in people of all ages, and especially amongst young people and in local schools.
  • Have the acumen and interest to oversee a large parish in the delivery of its mission, with a clear desire to draw new people into the worshipping congregations and to grow the church numerically, as well as in spiritual depth.
  • Have experience in team leadership and collaborative ministry.
  • Will support the parish’s commitment to the liberal catholic tradition, eucharistic worship, daily morning and evening prayer, choral music, excellent Biblical preaching, and strong pastoral care.
