You don’t need to have previous experience of working in care, nor do you need qualifications – we would be delighted to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

We’re keen to recruit someone who is passionate about working in care and who can help us ensure our workplace values are at the heart of everything we do.

Above all we want someone that shares our values. These are:

Are these values important to you? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We will give you all the training and support you need. You will be supported by us to make a difference by not only providing personal care to the people we support but supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities, promoting independence along the way. What is Reablement

Reablement plays a major part in reshaping the future of care and support - helping people to live longer, healthier and more independent lives in their own homes.

It is a little different from the traditional residential care associated with care work. We support people to do things for themselves again, by maintaining and improving independence enabling more fulfilled lives in their own homes. Working together with the person towards personal goals and outcomes which would improve their lives.

Reablement centres on recovery, supporting people with personal goals to be achieved typically up to 6 weeks. You will work with service users to develop their skills and confidence to achieve daily independent living. There may be an element of personal involved to look at ways to allow people to become independent with this. Your focus will be to enable each individual to achieve their goals and regain their health and independence. Working with other colleagues such as Occupational Therapists and Social Workers, you will contribute to person centred support plans and ongoing progress reviews.

This is an extremely rewarding role where you can realise the impact of the great work you do on a daily basis - you could be part of our team and share these great experiences with the people you support.

Shift patterns include a range of early shifts (approx. 7:30am - 1:30pm/ 3pm), late shifts (approx. 4pm – 10.00pm) and weekend working.

We offer a range of benefits including:

×You will be paid for the hours you work including travel and not just for the contact you have with your clients & able to claim your mileage (42p per mile)

×Full support to achieve NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care
