Job Details
There are a number of ways you can become a Quantity Surveyor, as a minimum you will need 4 or more GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and a minimum of 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent.
Level 3
You can study a BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Surveying Property & Maintenance or Construction Contracting Operations.
Level 4, 5 & 6
You can study a HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment or Surveying.
SalaryNewly trained quantity surveyors can earn in the region of £25,000 - £35,000
Trained with experience quantity surveyors can earn in the region of £35,000 - £45,000
Senior or chartered quantity surveyors can earn in the region of £45,000 - £65,000
