As a key member of our Prudential Risk team, you will support the Head of Investment Entities Risk Oversight and the Head of Prudential Risk in ensuring that our risk management framework is robust and effective. Your role will involve overseeing financial and prudential risks, assessing capital requirements for regulated entities, and ensuring we meet regulatory standards while maintaining appropriate solvency and liquidity buffers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain solvency assessments and conduct dividend reviews for the Group and individual entities.
  •  Create and maintain Group and entity-level Recovery & Resolution plans.
  •  Deliver effective risk reporting to Executive forums and legal entity boards.
  • Conduct ongoing oversight to understand material risks, including liquidity and credit risk.
  • Enhance risk awareness and culture, providing challenge and support to Senior Managers and Risk Owners.
  • Conduct Operational Risk Assessments and reverse stress tests.
  • Provide risk input to support external reporting.
  • Who we're looking For:

  • Strong understanding of prudential regulation (preferably IFPR) and risk management processes. Ideally, you hold GARP’s Financial Risk Management qualification or another relevant technical qualification.
  • Background in UK Financial Services, preferably within Wealth Management, with familiarity with related products, services, operations, and regulations.
  • Ability to analyse and present complex data impactfully, using sophisticated analytical thought to develop innovative solutions.
  • Confidently forge your own path, using initiative to achieve outcomes and communicate key issues clearly to support good risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence, negotiate, and work with senior managers and their teams. Ability to handle challenging discussions with a calm, professional manner.
