SALARY: £22,000 – £24,000

Monday – Friday 9AM – 5.15PM

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting for this fantastic Legal Secretary position with a national law firm with a branch in Sutton Coldfield. This role will be supporting the Residential Property department so prior conveyancing experience is essential.

The key duties of the role are:

  • Diary management for Fee Earners, including arranging meetings and appointments
  • Routine client correspondence and enquiries, including bills
  • Attending to clients both in-person and on the phone, in line with the firm’s standard of client care
  • Creating and maintaining client records on the firm’s database, recording all communication and maintaining file notes on the system
  • Handle completion funds/slips and order documents from Land Registry online system
  • Manage physical client files, including copying, storage, and retrieval
  • Facilitate Stamp Duty completion
  • Verify cleared balances on accounts before closure
  • Perform general office tasks such as typing, photocopying, filing, and email/fax management
  • Reception cover where needed
