Description

Project Quantity Surveyor to take commercial & contractual responsibility for the profitability on site for Industrial & Logistics Project near Telford – North West of Birmingham. This project is worth just over £22 Million. 

Do you have a track record on new build projects taking full commercial responsibility? You will be reporting into the Regional Commercial Manager based in Birmingham . Ideally this person will be based within the Midlands central belt due to the vast amount of work this contractor has on . They don’t like candidates staying away so really want you to be within a commutable distance on a daily basis.

Responsible for :

Cost Reports

Sub Contract management

Take Offs

Tender Analysis

Managing forecasts & cash flow

Bills of Quants

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Degree Quantity Surveying

Have good understanding of construction methodologies

Have excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills

COINS Experience

Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.

Must have a UK Residence and Eligible for employment
