Location United Kingdom Newcastle up Tyne Newcastle upon Tyne Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Europe & Africa Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional Project Manager Location – UK A Snapshot of Your Day Working on a Customer’s equipment for Siemens Energy’s Power Generation including Steam Turbines, Generators and Auxiliaries with a capacity of over 660MW.You will be the face to the customer, ensuring an excellent ongoing relationship while co-ordinating the Company’s resources to ensure the contractual, commercial, programme, budgetary and quality requirements of the contract are met satisfactorily. How You will Make an Impact

Managing the scope, specification, time, cost, quality, risk & resource aspects of the project.

Manage the commercial aspects to ensure that the financial objectives of the project are achieved.

Identification of tender/contract scope.

Specify, control, and deliver contract specific quality assurance requirements.

Purchase parts, raw material, and sub-contract processes.

Co-ordinate, integrate and motivate the project team and project participants to ensure successful project execution. 

Monitor and review the status of the project, identify issues, and develop solutions to fulfil contract obligations.

Promote a responsible health, safety & environment culture.

Manage the customer interface to maintain a good working relationship consistent with the Company’s interests.

What You Bring

Educated to degree level in relevant engineering or commercial discipline.

Recognised formal PM qualification such as IPMA Level C, APMP or equivalent.

Knowledge and / or experience of the power generation market sector.

Experience in an engineering business related to hardware supply or service contract provision, including subcontractor management.

Experience of large rotating equipment and systems (Steam Turbines and Generators – up to 660MW) would be advantageous.
