The Role

The Project Coordinator is a key role to deliver the Property Activation Fund (PAF) programme within the Goole Town Deal.

The Property Activation Fund (PAF) is one of eight strategic projects developed to rejuvenate Goole’s town centre and in turn, attract further investment. The PAF is a capital fund aiming to make the town centre a more attractive and appealing place to live, work and visit by restoring, refurbishing and, ultimately, reinventing buildings that are empty, under used or in a poor state of repair. A total budget in excess of £4 million was allocated to the Property Activation Fund from the £25m awarded via the GooleTown Deal, making the delivery of the PAF an essential part of the overall delivery of the Town Deal programme. This grant funding is available to businesses, charity or voluntary sector organisations, learning establishments and public sector organisations in the eligible boundary area within Goole town centre. This role involves overseeing this fund, managing the grant giving process from start to end, including assessing applications against strategic and value for money criteria, as well as facilitating the decision making, contractual and monitoring processes.
