Production operative (Extrusion)

Permanent opportunity for a Production Operative to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Huddersfield area. Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.

The Production Operative Role

Utilising basic hand tools including using cutting tools

Degreasing & Testing of Hoses

Operation of a Plastic extruder

Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings

on-the-job training.

About you the Production Operative

Previous experience working in a mechanical engineering environment

A understanding of Extrusion, Injection moulding and Pressure flow would be highly advantageous

Ability to work well as part of team and communicate with other workers

£12.25 per hour

Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
