KeyResponsibilities:
• Support theimplementation and ongoing optimization of the digital travelplatforms and capabilities into new and existing markets andpartnerships from envisioning through implementation
• Act as Product Owner providing scrum teams with usercentered agile specifications (user stories) and acceptancecriteria maintaining the product backlog and facilitating therequirements
elaboration of epics features and userstories within participating in daily stand ups PI/sprint planning& review meetings retrospectives and end of sprint show andtells.
• In partnership with tech teams and /or external vendors lead the project through our team’sagile development process support the User Acceptance testingtagging validation and overall
projectdelivery
• Identify recommend and drive throughinsight driven shortterm initiatives that enhance the performanceof the department KPIs/OKRs alongside longer termprojects.
• Track progress against keymilestones and take corrective action where necessary.
• Manage specific local market configuration’swhere necessary.
• Partner with design agencyto craft and deliver creative assets.
• To acton information/recommendations provided from regular customerinsight and operational bug/issue reports.
•Support management of thirdparty relationships including TLMactivities contract maintenance and capability/technicalintegrations.
• Marketplace analysis andcustomer insight is key analyzing qualitative and quantitativeresearch of customer characteristics behaviors and opinions is keyto representing both business and
customerneeds.
• Be aware of all compliance standardsaffecting digital including but not limited to DisabilityDiscrimination Act Distance Selling Advertising Standards TradingStandards European Consumer
Rights legislation EUeprivacy directive (cookie law) EC Air Services Regulation DataProtection Act and internal regulations whilst working with legaland compliance teams to ensure
adherence globally forany new product initiative.
MinimumQualifications Skills:
• Passion fordigital with strong preference for the travel space
• Naturally adapts a customerfirst mindset with a passionfor the customer experience
• Ability to manageand prioritize multiple activities workloads andobjectives
• Must be able to develop andmaintain collaborative relationship with various business units andtechnology partners
• Experience of effectivelycoordinating activity across geographically/culturally diverseteams both inhouse and with third party development/agencypartners
• Highly organized and ability toperform well in high pressure situations
•Strong communication skills and experience storytelling with theability to communicate complex technical issues and topics bothwritten and verbal to multiple audiences including leadership
and key partner executives.
•Product development project management and personal time managementskills ensuring that work is produced to agreed deadlines and highstandard in a B2C environment or Direct Channels
Environment.
• Experience with Amex complianceprocesses desirable
• Experience in Agiledelivery methodology desirable
• Flexible“can do” attitude and desire to work in afastpaced and dynamic team environment on several initiativessimultaneously
• Works well as part of a teambut has the ability to manage and prioritize own work and beautonomous.
• Strong analytical skills able todraw conclusions from data management information and trendsalongside analysis of business processes and stakeholderrequirements
• Working knowledge of travelreservations systems desirable
