The Opportunity

We currently have a role for a Procurement Systems Manager to be an administrator and user of our procurement platform, and related procurement platforms, within the Group Procurement function.

In this role, you will ensure that the systems are managed as appropriate as set out below. The role will initially be focused on expansion, using your skills and experiences to add on new countries and territories as part of a global roll-out of the tool. Following this – you will then manage the system across the globe.

As the Procurement Systems Manager, you will make configuration changes, coaching people in the use of the tool, working closely with the vendor, managing new releases and supporting with the on-boarding of new countries and geographies.

You will interface across the procurement team globally as the central point of reference for this crucial tool.

Focus

Manage procurement platforms, handle technical and process issues, and review vendor updates. Suggest system improvements, make configuration changes, and expand the system to new regions. Lead testing, train users, and guide support teams. Create and manage documentation, act as second-line support, and ensure change management compliance. partner with technology, procurement, and legal teams, interface with vendors, and provide data for reporting and compliance.

Impact

Deliver an efficient procurement system management service, strengthen relationships, and ensure system functionality aligns with strategies. Present the team as a supportive business function, embed strong controls, and demonstrate excellence in outputs, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for people who:

  • Have significant experience of our procurement platform, as an administrator and able to configure the system to an organization’s needs. knowledge of other procurement platforms too will be advantageous.
  • Have managed a system on a global or multi-country basis.
  • Can manage, or working under, robust systems change management process and an appreciation of the importance of embedding this into an organization.
  • Have practical knowledge of the procurement process, particularly supplier due diligence and compliance.
  • Can demonstrate passion for excellent quality of work in this key compliance area.
  • Can adept at working with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels and able to arrive a mutually acceptable solution, and can deal directly with vendor
