A high-profile opportunity working with this highly-regarded Cambridge organisation. This key role will lead a small team of procurement professionals to develop and embed category plans across a broad range of FM spend. With high levels of senior engagement, this role will drive best practice across senior stakeholders and key strategic suppliers to ensure a joined-up approach across the business. This highly visible role will also take ownership for high value tendering activities, securing buy-in from key internal stakeholders where necessary. Key areas of focus will include: supporting the development of the procurement strategy; manage the Source to Contract system; oversee the preparation of tender documentation; management of negotiations with preferred suppliers; and driving supplier engagement and management.
To succeed in this role, demonstrable experience in managing FM spend in aplex working environment is required. You will have exceptional stakeholder management andmunication skills, be self-motivated and positive in your approach to work. You will be adept at managing a range ofplex procurement projects and managing strategic supplier relationships. With a need to be in the office 2 days per week this role will work as part of a high-performing and progressive procurement team.
