About the Role
You will be a highly experienced and/or qualified professional. This role requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. You will demonstrate mastery of concepts and procedures in Content Acquisition and Operations. You will solve complex problems using critical thinking, works independently, requires minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
Developing sourcing/procurement strategies for Direct spend in Content Acquisition, Development and Content Operations.
Initiating new strategic partnerships and managing existing ones with suppliers.
Analyzing legal terms, obtaining project requirements, and negotiating favorable conditions with suppliers.
Collaborating with stakeholders for alignment on cost management and revenue enablement.
Evaluating essential services and skillfully navigating negotiations for Content Operation initiatives.
Developing supplier resources and capabilities while managing demand.
Redesigning processes and supply chains to deliver cost reduction and efficiency strategies.
Liaising with Procurement colleagues to leverage spend and suppliers for increased value.
Requirements
Have experience in developing and executing procurement strategies when it comes to direct spend for Content Acquisition, Development and Operations
Be able to build relationships with external suppliers and vendors as well as internal stakeholders
Have experience with price and contract negotiations while working closely with Legal on procurement contracts
Possess experience working globally in a fast paced environment
Work independently, requiring minimal guidance.
