Our divisional heads will then email your CV internally to the consultant who specialises in your exact sector, for example a category of packaging is cartons, a category of print is print management, in fact we have over 30 specialist categories. Our specialist consultant will contact you if we have a live vacancy that matches, or contact you in the near future as soon a good match to skill set and experience becomes available.
An award winning litho and digital print company has an opening for an experienced individual within the printing industry to take on the role of Estimator.
Working within a dynamic team you will be responsible for producing a large number of estimates on a daily basis. You will be expected to take briefs from internal sales as well as customers, offer solutions or alternative cost-effective ideas and produce accurate estimates to tight deadlines. This role requires someone who is flexible, positive and willing to provide an outstanding service.
You must have experience of MIS systems, good written and verbal communication skills, highly numerate and commercially aware.
The ideal candidate will not only have estimating experience, but also a solid understanding of preparing and processing customer’s files using state of the art prepress systems, as the role will also include occasionally assisting the production team within their busy factory. Please note, training will be provided if candidates need to obtain this working knowledge.
This position would suit someone who seeks variety in a role – someone who is willing to be versatile, can work on their own initiative, and have a key role within our client’s team.
Key attributes preferred but not essential:
*Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Essential (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
*Experience of printing processes, digital and litho.
*Microsoft Office skills.
*Experience working with Macs.
