Hull City Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Principal ICT Officer to help deliver a wide variety of digital projects to transform services across the Council for the benefit of its officers and the citizens of Hull.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering digital solutions and be confident in leading on all aspects of project delivery. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently liaise with suppliers, service areas and ICT colleagues to plan and deliver projects utilising a pool of ICT resources to perform technical tasks. You will have experience following project management methodologies and evidence your ability to monitor and control activities through the full project lifecycle from project kick-off to project closure. You will have the ability to analyse business processes and possess a good understanding of new and emerging technologies to support Council departments in the delivery of digital solutions to maximise business benefits.
Your strong organisational and problem management skills will be key to ensuring successful project delivery and realisation of business benefits.
