Responsibilities:
Preparing and checking Preliminary Risk Assessments (desk studies), technical advice notes, drawings and geotechnical and geo-environmental interpretative reports
Prepare proposals and tenders and contribute to business development activity
Management and delivery of Phase 1 and 2 Site Investigation reports
Completion of Phase 3a Remediation Strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
A comprehensive understanding of H&S obligations with regard to ground investigation works (e.g. production of site specific work risk assessments, below ground utility avoidance etc).
Full UK driving license and use of vehicle
Experience engaging with outside parties including, clients planning consultants, project management, regulatory authorities and clients
Extensive experience supervising Phase 2 Site Investigations including the logging of soil / rock formations, sampling protocols and subsequent monitoring works
Experience managing and procuring 3rd party site investigation contractors
Proven track record in the production of quality factual and interpretive Investigation reports
