Overview
MCL requires a Principal Electrical Engineer on an Offshore FEED Project with BP.
Duration: for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start
Rate: a target limited company rate of circa £65.00 per hour.
Location: The role will be based in the Clients Offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working is possible with two days remote.
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a QDOS assessment

Responsibilities
The Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for various energy transition projects for FEED and EPC work.
Their experience shall include designs for offshore electrical distribution power systems and brownfield modifications.
Knowledge should include BP Standards and UK North Sea Practices.
The work is for brownfield modifications associated with the tie-in of a new platform in the FEED stage.
The work will include development of SLDs / load lists, sizing HV equipment, UPS systems, development of philosophies, specifications and datasheets.
They will be working as part of a team supporting the lead engineer.
