Job Title: PPA Teacher (Year 4 and PPA Cover)

Location: Haringey, North London

Reeson Education is excited to present a unique opportunity for a PPA Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Haringey, North London. This full-time role involves teaching a small group of Year 4 students every morning and providing PPA cover across various year groups in the afternoons. This position starts in September 2024, with interviews taking place from Monday 24th June through to Wednesday 26th June.

PPA Teacher - Key Information:

  • Location: Haringey, North London
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Year Groups: Year 4 (mornings) and EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 or 4 (afternoons)
  • Working Days: 5 days a week
  • Interview Dates: Monday 24th June to Wednesday 26th June
  • PPA Teacher - Role Overview:

  • Morning Duties: Teach reading, writing, and maths to half of our Year 4 class (12-14 children) every morning. This small group setting is designed to address the diverse needs of the students and provide targeted support.
  • Afternoon Duties: Provide PPA cover for EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, and either Year 3 or 4, ensuring continuity and high-quality teaching across these year groups.
  • PPA Teacher - Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, and maths for a small group of Year 4 students.
  • Address the individual needs of students, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide PPA cover in the afternoons, delivering planned lessons and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • PPA Teacher - Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly with Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
