We are looking for a data driven PMO Specialist to join our team and report to the Head of Delivery
What You'll Be Doing:
Starting from the ground up you’ll lead in setting up the tools and methods to effectively run our portfolio
Leading the adoption of agile project management (Kanban, Lean, and Scrum) methods using standard strategies, based on templates and toolsets.
Monitoring existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
Gathering and analysing project data and building dashboards to present findings
Preparing project status reports for management review.
Implementing and running a “Front Door” process for taking on new work
Building a Demand and Resource management capability
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 year's experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar role within a technology setting.
Experience of process development and driving adoption of those processes.
Excellent knowledge of agile project management methods and processes including Kanban , Lean, and Scrum.
A solid understanding of Portfolio management
Experience of Capacity planning and Resource Management.
Expert in project management toolsets such as Jira
Experience of creating data driven performance reports & dashboards using Google LookerStudio or equivalents to show project and programme progress against defined KPI’s
Experience in project budgeting and reconciling forecast and actuals at the project level
Able to identify delivery risks and maintain a programme level risk log.
Excellent written communication skills, we write narratives rather than slide decks.
Great stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organisation.
You should be a self-starter, driven, and collaborative, and be comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organisation.
