Qualifications

Plastering is available as a study programme, part-time and apprenticeship course. Good GCSEs are recommended for measurements and calculations. 

At Leeds College of Building entry is via a basic skills test or for part-time courses a relevant qualification.

Salary

Newly trained plasterers can earn £19,000 - £25,000.

Trained plasterers with some experience can earn £25,000 - £35,000.

Senior plasterers can earn in excess of £35,000.

Self-employed plasterers set their own pay rates.
