The role of Planning Coordinator in Coventry will involve:
Coordinating between transport planning, sites and drivers.
Keeping customers informed of progress.
Managing customer orders.
Monitoring delays and liaising updating customers.
Manage queries and issues with customers regarding deliveries.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Planning Coordinator will have:
An understanding of working in a customer led business.
Knowledge of a logistics/transport environment.
The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Good geographical knowledge.
Good IT skills (inc. Excel).
Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Desired:
Knowledge of SAP and/or Microlise.
Previous experience working within construction supply chain.
