This highly reputable consultancy based in Central London are looking for a Planner to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting planning projects, providing planning advice, and contributing to the development of urban projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.

Conduct site assessments and assist in preparing development feasibility studies.

Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.

Provide support in public consultations and represent the company at planning committees.

Ensure compliance with relevant planning legislation and policies.

Conduct research and analysis to support planning projects.

Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Support senior planning staff and work collaboratively within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in a planning role.

Working towards Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is a plus.

Good understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
