We are currently seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Sociology Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in the vibrant borough of Hackney, London. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Sociology lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5 students
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and guidance
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Sociology department and across the wider school community

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level

- A passion for fostering critical thinking, independent inquiry, and social awareness in students
