Our Peripatetic Service is recruiting several Care & Support Workers working Variable hours to ensure that the care we provide is continuous and responsive to the most vulnerable people in our district. These positions are permanent working variable hours. People living in De lacy Gardens/Sherwood Court will have all the benefits and privacy of having their own home but with the access to on site care and support based on their assessed need.

Support Assistants provide planned person centred care which aims to encourage and motivate individuals to maintain confidence in independence and support the development of daily living skills of Service Users between 15.30pm and 22.30pm.

The service is flexible and responsive to support the changing needs of individuals.
 


The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction programme, full training to deliver high standards of care, and we will fund the qualification for you on successful completion of the probation period. The position will help you gain invaluable skills to deliver person centred care at every opportunity, supporting people who use our service.

With a starting salary of £21, to £21, (FTE), enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working, plus overtime opportunities and 26 days holiday (FTE) why wouldn’t you want to choose a career in care?


This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act . The post holder is required to demonstrate a proficient level of fluency under the Duty as detailed within the job specification for the post”.
