Exciting Opportunity: Pastoral Leader Position Available – January Start

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for student well-being? A well-respected Secondary school in Lancashire is seeking a dynamic Pastoral Leader to join their team, starting in January 2025.

About the Role:

As a Pastoral Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the personal development, behaviour, and welfare of students. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to create a positive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Monitor and promote positive behaviour, attendance, and overall student well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of pastoral staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services.

  • Proven experience in a pastoral role within a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach, with a commitment to student welfare and inclusion.
  • Leadership experience or potential, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
