Scania GB are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills to take on the exciting role as a Parts Advisor. The main responsibility of this role is to provide timely and efficient support for the Aftersales operation whilst meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers.
  • Assist with delivery and collection of parts when required, ensuring they are packaged and documented correctly.
  • Support increased part sales and fixed price repairs through proactive selling utilising the primary national part sales programmes.
  • Answer the phone in a friendly and open manner using the company standard greeting.
  • Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of sound parts knowledge and excellent customer service, ensuring that customer requirements are met or always exceeded.
  • Assist in controlling optimum stock profile for the branch whilst minimising levels of obsolescence.
  • Proactively embark on perpetual stock checks working to reducing stock check line discrepancy rate.
  • Character:

  • Ability to build rapport and positive relationships – Working with the customer to build professional relationships to maximise sales opportunities and meet the customer’s needs
  • Trustworthy – Managing own workload, ensuring the customers are kept up to date
  • Forward thinker, using own initiative under pressure – Be able to overcome any obstacles that present themselves under pressure whilst ensuring the customer’s needs are still met.
