Partner, Commercial Property – Edinburgh (Assignment 15554)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new Partner-level role with our client, a successful Scottish based law firm. The firm is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join its highly regard Commercial Property team in Edinburgh at partnership level.

The team handle a wide variety of interesting commercial property matters including property finance, property investment, sales and purchases, leasing, and property disputes; there may also be scope to be involved in the English property market.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful and friendly firm and would be suited to senior lawyers with at least 10 years PQE and who come from a strong commercial property background. There will also be opportunity to bring a following, however this is not essential.

Private Client Solicitor – Edinburgh (Assignment 15408)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this senior Private Client role with our client, a full-service law firm with offices across Scotland. The firm is currently recruiting an experienced solicitor to join its well-established Private Client department in Edinburgh.

The purpose of the role is to manage a varied and interesting caseload of private client work and to work closely with the Partner and provide managerial/supervision support to the team if required; the successful candidate will provide advice to a broad range of clients on trusts, executries, wills, powers of attorney, successions and guardianships.

The firm is keen to hear from candidates ranging from 4 years’ PQE up to Partner level with solid Private Client experience. A STEP qualification is desirable, however not essential.

Senior Associate/Partner, Dispute Resolution – Glasgow (Assignment 15650)

This award-winning Scottish law firm is currently recruiting an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in Glasgow. The team provide litigation advice to a range of clients throughout Scotland.

To be considered for this role you should have at least 7 years’ PQE with a strong litigation background. You will be involved in all aspects of dispute resolution matters including insolvency, and commercial and property litigation. The firm is seeking someone with a proven track record of driving successful outcomes in legal matters with a passion for advancing team objectives.

Corporate – Glasgow/Edinburgh (Assignment 15555)

This highly regarded law firm is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join its busy Corporate and Commercial team at Partnership level in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

The team have a diverse set of skills and experience and their expertise lie within the following areas of law: banking & finance, corporate finance, charities, IP/IT and data protection.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and friendly firm and would be suited to senior lawyers with at least 10 years PQE who come from a strong corporate background.

Senior Lawyers/Director/Partner – Glasgow (Assignment 15230)

We are delighted to be working with this leading full-service UK law firm. The firm is going through a period of growth and is now seeking additional senior level lawyers to join its new team in Glasgow.

We are delighted to have been instructed on this senior Private Client role with our client, a well-established law firm headquartered in Aberdeen. The firm is currently looking to recruit a Partner to lead the firms highly regarded Private Client team on a full-time basis.

The role is based in Aberdeen; however, the firm will also consider Edinburgh or Glasgow for the right person. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of private client work such as wills & executries, trusts & estate administration, powers of attorney and inheritance tax.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 6 years PQE with a strong background in private client work. Previous experience of working in a managerial role would be advantageous as well as exposure to handling sensitive and complex cases.

This position would be suited to someone with excellent leadership skills and who possess the ability to drive successful outcomes in legal matters.
