Female Paediatric Complex Care Nurse – Community Based

Lewisham, South East London

Days and Nights 

Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:00 (6 Days)

Monday to Sunday 21:00-08:00 (7 Nights)

Pay Rate – Days £ / Nights £ / Weekends £

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits paediatric nurses to deliver bespoke care and support to young people enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into their local community.

We are looking to recruit Paediatric nurses with complex care experience to work with a 2-and-a-half-year-old little girl with a diagnosis of CCHS and Hirschprungs Disease. She is very sociable, loves to interact with those she's familiar with. She can communicate verbally, understands both English and Ukrainian and is learning Makaton. we provide shadow shifts to ensure you feel comfortable, and a team of support available whenever you need it.

  • Role requirements

    We look for paediatric nurses with a minimum of 6 months in the last 2 years experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. To be considered for this role we require recent experience in the following key skills:

  • Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning
  • Tracheostomy tube change
  • Ventilation via Trachy
  • Humidification
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Administration of Nebulisers via ventilator
  • Bag and Valve Ventilation via Tracheostomy
  • 12 months minimum Uk based experience
