Due to high demand in and across Preston. We are currently looking for skilled and motivated Office Administrators to join our administrative team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's administrative functions and providing support to students, staff, and parents.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school's front office, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents.
  • Handle telephone calls, emails, and other communications, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain and update student records, including attendance, contact information, and enrolment data.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and school events.
  • Prepare and process administrative paperwork, including reports, correspondence, and forms.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of newsletters, notices, and other communications.
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff and other departments as required.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-organized and efficient.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with office management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
  • Please note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time.

    All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education child protection and UK eligibility including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
